A night sky observation camp was held at the Dankotuwa Jaya Kodi Stadium on the 3rd and 4th of July, under the leadership of the Dankotuwa Vidatha Resource Centre, with the support of the Colombo University Astronomical Society. School children and people interested in astronomy participated in this event.

To mark the "Culture of Integrity – Clean Sri Lanka" National Week (July 27–31, 2026), an awareness program on "Financial Literacy Linked to Entrepreneurship" was successfully held on July 30, 2026. The program aimed to foster a culture of integrity-based entrepreneurship among entrepreneurs in the Dankotuwa Divisional Secretariat Division. Mr. H.A.A.M. Hewawasam from the Bank of Ceylon, Dankotuwa, served as the resource person for this program.
